What are Brave Survey Panels? Follow
A survey panel is a group of individuals who have agreed to participate in research studies. For users who opt-in to join a survey panel, Brave may present opportunities to participate in surveys.
How does participation in the survey panel help Brave?
Brave surveys fall into two general categories:
- Surveys that can demonstrate to advertisers whether their privacy-first sponsored image campaign was successful for raising awareness of their products. (This in turn helps Brave earn revenue.)
- Surveys to capture user feedback and market research about Brave and its products. This feedback helps us ensure we’re building the features that users want.
What data do you collect when I participate in a survey panel? How long is the data kept?
For surveys related to Brave's advertising campaigns, we will retain some on-device, campaign-level ad metrics for up to 90 days. These metrics are used to ensure that the surveys are only sent to users who have seen or clicked on the associated ads.
If you choose to respond to a survey about Brave or its products, we will retain your responses for up to 1 year.
Our survey platform does not log IP addresses.
