Artikel ini mencakup cara menghapus semua data Brave jika Anda ingin memulai dari awal, serta cara menghapus jenis data individu di browser. 

Deleting all Brave data

Semua data pengguna Brave dapat ditemukan di folder data pengguna. Perhatikan bahwa folder ini berbeda tergantung pada OS yang dipasang. Ketika folder ini dihapus dari OS dan Brave dioperasikan kembali dan folder data pengguna tidak terdeteksi, browser akan menghasilkan versi baru, yang segar dari folder tersebut di mana data pengguna baru akan disimpan.

Perhatikan bahwa menghapus data dengan cara ini juga menghapus data Imbalan dan/atau dompet Crypto yang terdapat di browser, yang dapat menyebabkan hilangnya dana dan/atau akses ke aset dompet crypto.

For Windows users, the User Data folder can be found:

C:Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Brave Software\Brave-Browser\User Data

For macOS users, the User Data folder can be found:

~/Users/[your user name]/Library/"Application Support"/Brave Software/Brave-Browser

For Linux users, the User Data folder can be found:

~/.config/Brave-browser

Setelah dihapus, cukup jalankan ulang Brave untuk membuat versi baru dari folder ini.

Deleting all data on mobile devices

Untuk menghapus semua data Brave di perangkat Android dan/atau iOS Anda, Anda cukup mencopot pemasangan aplikasi. Saat Anda menginstal ulang, itu akan menginstal versi baru dari browser tanpa data sebelumnya. Seperti versi Desktop dari browser, harap perhatikan bahwa menghapus data dengan cara ini juga menghapus data Imbalan yang terdapat di browser, yang dapat menyebabkan hilangnya dana dan/atau informasi dompet.

Deleting individual data types

Perhatikan bahwa sebagian besar data, seperti data Cache/situs, Kata Sandi/data Isi Otomatis, Unduhan Riwayat/Browsing  Riwayat, dapat dihapus menggunakan opsi Hapus Riwayat yang ada di browser. You can find this menu by going to Settings --> History --> Clear browsing data, click the check box next to the desired data type, then select Clear data.

However, this option is all or nothing and does not allow you to select specific entries of the desired data type. For a more selective approach, please see the options below.

Deleting bookmarks

You can delete bookmarks by going to the brave://bookmarks page (Settings --> Bookmarks). Here you can delete individual bookmarks by clicking the "more options" (three dots icon) next to the desired bookmark (or bookmark folder), then selecting Delete in the context menu:

Deleting passwords and autofill data

You can delete password and autofill data (Payment methods, saved Addresses) by going to brave://settings/autofill. Unlike deleting bookmarks data as shown above, individual passwords/autofill data must be deleted one item at a time. You can do this by clicking the "more options" (three dots icon) next to the desired entry and selecting Remove from the context menu:

Deleting browsing history

You can delete browsing history by going to the brave://history page (Settings --> History). You can delete an individual entry by "more options" (three dots icon) next to the desired entry, or you can delete multiple entries at once by clicking the checkbox next to the desired entries (note that you may bulk select entries by checking a box, holding the Shift key, then checking another box below the first one to select all entries in between the two), then Delete at the top of the page:

Deleting extensions

You can view a list of all installed extensions by going to your brave://extensions page. To delete an extension, simply click the Remove button on the relevant extension. Perhatikan bahwa menonaktifkan ekstensi (dengan menggunakan sakelar aktif/nonaktif pada ekstensi) tidak akan menghapus ekstensi tersebut - ekstensi masih terinstal dan semua data yang relevan dengan ekstensi tetap utuh.
