How do I update Brave? Follow
Brave browser will automatically fetch and download updates in the background when they become available. Note that once an update is downloaded, the browser must first be restarted before the update can be applied. If you haven't relaunched the browser in a while and an update is ready to be applied, a colored Update icon will be overlayed on top of the main menu icon:
Clicking on this notification will display a new option at the top of the main menu to relaunch the browser and apply the update:
You can also manually check for new browser updates by launching Brave and going to Menu --> Help --> About Brave. This page will display the version number of the browser and if a new version is available, will automatically start downloading and installing the update:
