How do I customize the New Tab page on iOS? Follow
Accessing the New Tab Page (NTP) settings
- In Brave, click on
Menu --> All Settings
. - Scroll down to the
Display
section. - Select the
New Tab Page
to find Background, Privacy Hub, and Favorites options.
Changing the Background on New Tab Pages
In the NTP settings you can switch between Default or Sponsored Images.
- Default images are curated by Brave and often include user submissions.

Sponsored images are additional branded backgrounds you earn from with Brave Rewards. Please see the latest regarding Rewards on iOS.

Additionally, you can turn Background images Off
. A black or white background will be seen in their place.
Toggling the Privacy Hub On/Off
The Privacy Hub widget is shown when you open a New Tab Page.

Privacy Hub gives you insight into trackers/ads blocked and estimated time and bandwidth saved. Toggling this feature
Off
will remove it from your new tab pages. You can learn more about the Privacy Hub feature here.
Changing Favorites on the New Tab Page
Your most frequently visited sites are shown under the Favorites widget on each new tab page.
You can toggle Favorites On
or Off
at Menu --> All Settings --> New Tab Page
.
To edit your top sites please follow these steps.
- Open a New Tab page.
- Long-press on the website favorite you wish to change. Select Edit Favorite.
- Edit the Name and Site URL to your desired website. Click OK.
The new site will appear in your Favorites.
