What if the browser crashes on startup?

If you are experiencing a crash that occurs as soon as the browser starts and you're unable to visit the brave://crashes page, you can still retrieve the crash reports from your system. To do this, you can find crash report .dmp files in your User data folder. These files will be located in:

Windows: 

C:Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Brave Software\Brave-Browser\User Data\Crashpad\reports

MacOS:

~/Users/[your user name]/Library/"Application Support"/Brave Software/Brave-Browser/Crashpad\completed

Linux:

~/.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Crash Reports

Please reach out to us on our Community support website or our official Github with any details relevant to the crash, along with the crash report ID or the crash .dmp files.
